Welcome Back to School Letter

Welcome to the 2024/2025 School year!

Dear Three Rivers Union School families,

It is my pleasure to welcome all new and returning students to Three Rivers Union School. We are very excited to see you soon. The first day of school for our students is on Monday, August 12th, 2024. We are ready to challenge our students while making connections with them. We encourage all parents to be our partners in their student’s education by joining any school event and being involved in their student’s academic work.

Being a student at 3RUSD will provide each student with the skills necessary to be successful in high school, college, and in their future careers. 3RUSD will hold students and staff to high expectations ensuring everyone on campus is doing their best to provide all 3RUSD students with the best education possible.

We expect students to be dedicated, to think critically, have an open mind, and be prepared to work hard, while also having fun. 3RUSD staff will expect students to work harder than they’ve ever worked before, while being responsible and respectful. We know 3RUSD students are up for the challenge! Academic excellence, curiosity, and creativity all drive our students and school to success. 

There are a few events coming up. Make sure you mark your calendars and join us:

• Monday, August 12th, 2024 - First Day of School, Start time 8:25 AM, Minimum Day Dismissal is at 1:00PM

• Monday, August 12th, 2024 - Back to School Night, Band Presentation begins at 5:40PM, Classroom visits begin at 6PM

• Wednesday, August 14th, 2012 - TRUS Board Meeting at 6:00 PM

• Friday, August 16th, 2024 -School Spirit Day! (Every Friday)

• Friday, August 16th, 2024 - Mandatory Football/Volleyball Parent & Player Code of Ethics Meeting @ 4:30 PM in Gym

• Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 - College Day! Wear your favorite College Gear! (Every other Wednesday)

• Friday, October 25th, 2024 - Picture Day

Communication:

Beginning this year we will send our communication via ParentSquare. If you have not done so already, please download the app. With this app you will have access to communicate with staff and teachers. We also have a Facebook and Instagram page if you would like to follow us. We post pictures of events on both Facebook & Instagram. To follow us scan the QR code.

Social Emotional Support: Our students’ social emotional health is important to us. Our teachers will utilize class wide SEL lessons throughout the school year. Support will continue to be available from our school psychologist and school counselor. Remember 3RUSD is a place where we will grow together.

It is an exciting time to be an Eagle! We will celebrate success together and honor the hard work everyone is putting into reaching their goals. Everyone at 3RUSD is excited to start the new school year and help all students further their pursuit of knowledge. Welcome to Three Rivers Union School District. Go Eagles!
